The stock tail shape is designed to offer a balanced tail depth through the turn and across the wake.
A square tail shape adds lift, support, and provides a clean release of water for speed.
The round tail lets the ski sit deeper in the water, adding control at higher speeds for quicker turns and reduced tail blow out.
Allows the ski to ride deeper in the water on left turns and provides more tip pressure on right hand turns. This may benefit the skier on their onside and/or offside turns depending on their strength and style.

The extended tail allows progressing skiers to convert from a 63” ski to a 65” ski. Only available on DV8 63".
Versatail
VersaTail (patent pending) - our new interchangeable tail system with the ability to alter the geometry of your ski, ushers in a new era. Now skiers can fine tune the ski to their preferences. Changing these blocks will alter the flow of water off the tail of the ski, taking a step beyond the standard fin and binding position adjustments.
The Carbon V and V include the stock, square, round tail blocks. The DV8 includes the stock, square, round, RTS and STR tail blocks.
C1 and DV8 65”, 66”, 67” and 68” skis include the stock VT, square VS, round VR, RTS and STR tail blocks.
C1 and DV8 63” includes the stock VT, square VS, round VR and VT+ tail blocks.
Carbon V and V skis include the stock VT, square VS, and round VR tailblocks.
